You might be thinking that the data can't be good coming from a game, and I'd be inclined to agree with you. However, given the fact that we can't really get access to actual Formula 1, or other championship data on a level this deep I'd say this is the next best thing. Given the breadth of the data I'd say it's more than enough to get a pretty nice analysis going on.

About Forza Motorsport 7

Forza Motorsport 7 is a racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. It was released on Windows 10 and Xbox One family of consoles on October 3, 2017. The game features over 700 vehicles to choose from and 30 famous destinations with 200 tracks.

The game is considered to be one of the most realistic racing games ever made (at the time of writing). It has a reasonable overall look and feel, and relatively realistic driving physics, while also featuring dynamic weather and time of day, making sure no lap is ever the same.

About the data

The race was done using an Xbox controller, which is why you might see values going from zero to max in no time. It's not guaranteed but it can happen.

About the track

The track is the full circuit of Rio de Janeiro. The full circuit is around 6.2 km long, race conditions were clear, sunny day, with 5 laps. If you want to recreate the track layout based on the data, the official layout looks like this:
