This is a CSV-ified list of all drugs tracked by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is updated weekly on Wednesdays. This data is from the OpenFDA Drug API, which contains nearly every drug that the FDA has encountered since 1939.

Both the original data from the FDA (JSON format) and our reformatted version (in two separate CSVs) are available here.

The FDA updates their list of drugs every Tuesday. This notebook will be updated every Wednesday at 12:00am EST (GMT -5).

• drugs.csv - just the drugs and their manufacturers
• submissions.csv - all New Drug Applications submitted to the FDA and any supplemental submissions
• meta.json - the original metadata from the FDA, including a disclaimer
• original_openfda_drugs.json - the original JSON downloaded from the Drugs@FDA API
