IP Australia's Intellectual Property Government Open Dataset (IPGOD) 2020
Context
IP Australia is the Australian Government department which administers intellectual property rights in Australia, including patents, designs, trade marks (yes, that's how Australia spells it - two words) and plant breeder's rights.
Each year, IP Australia makes its open dataset available on the Australian Government's open data portal. This is a straight re-upload of IP Australia's IPGOD product available from data.gov.au. I use kaggle from time to time to work on some IP related data questions, and have uploaded here for convenience.
Content
IPGOD contains historical data for patents, trade marks, designs and plant breeder's rights filed in Australia since federation (1901). The dataset contains information about application administrative processes, parties to IP rights, classification information about IP rights and descriptions of IP rights.
The high level data model is below.
The full data dictionary is available from data.gov.au.

This dataset is the property of IP Australia. Just placing here to make more accessible to the open data community.
