A Modified, Simplified Version of the NFL Big Data Bowl Dataset Hosted on Kaggle.

The dataset is aimed at beginners practicing their skills in the field of Sports Analytics, Visualization and Data Science in Sports.

A total of 4 Datasets are present, all in comma separated value file formats namely:

• games.csv
• players.csv
• plays.csv
• week_data.csv

The description of each csv file can be found in the description section of the csv files below.

The author also aims at adding a detailed notebook playing around with the available data with the motive of establishing a general workflow of how to perform data visualization in the domain of sports analytics. The said notebook can be found in the code section on the same page as soon as the notebook is ready!

Feel free to experiment with nee and interesting methods in data analytics, visualization, etc with the available data.
