Context

Since MalaysianPayGap(an Instagram page that wants to overcome wage taboo and promote salary transparency in Malaysia) has been getting a lot of traction lately. I decided to scrape all the data from their IG account to possibly analyse the data and hopefully better understand the issues faced by Malaysian workers.

Data is split into two parts being the comments.csv and posts_text.csv.

The README has a description of both files. I even used OCR to extract all the text within the images of a post(the anonymous confessions) which can be found under the image_text column of posts_text.csv
